How has KYP’s tutoring program made a difference in your life? It has prepared me for my exams and helped outline the fact that I’m the one responsible for my education.  It has also improved my marks both in English and mathematics.

What are your life goals?  What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a stockbroker or a chartered accountant.

Why are you a KYP member? I had always been sitting at home doing nothing.  KYP helps me keep away from all the negative influences, but still have a chance to explore the outside world with different people. I am a member of KYP because it gives something positive to do every day.

What do you love about KYP? I love KYP because it is a helping hand and it is my home.  The leaders are always there to help us in whatever we need.  They guide us and show the right way when we go wrong.

What has been a challenge you have faced in your life?  How have you met that challenge? Losing my dad was a big challenge.  I learned how to accept it and acknowledge that I still have my mother and  KYP to lean on.

What does KYP mean to you? KYP means always having a family to go to, and having a support system and friends who can be shoulders to cry on. It means always having someone to show you the importance of having good education. It means so much to a young person like me who has dreams.
